The Safekeep (Yael van der Wouden)

A gorgeous book with a plot twist that I still can’t get over. Reminded me of the Dutch House in that the main character is a place and not a person. The main human character was a grouch in the beginning but it all works out. I had a bit of a Hermione (or Her-me-own) moment with her name “Isa”. Is it Izza or Eye-sa? Probably would have devoured the book in 3 days but I kept tripping over her name and it took me 4. 5 ⭐️s!
